About Us
It all started with two college seniors and one family recipe.
During holidays and special occasions, Alyssa's maternal grandmother, Ms. Darling, pioneers her family's two sacred traditions: cooking the curry goat and steeping the sorrel.

Using Ms. Darling's recipe, Alyssa made sorrel alone for the first time during her junior year of college, and it instantly became a hit amongst her friends in Branford College and at the Yale Daily News.
This is where she met Dante, the driving force behind Ms. Darling's incorporation. The first time he tasted sorrel, he said,
"This is everything right in the world."
And it is.

The mark of good, strong sorrel is its rich, dark color, and Ms. Darling's Sorrel offers just that. We hope to bring Grandma's traditional Jamaican recipe to you, one bottle at a time.
